Days of Caring – Valley Youth House

Faith based, civic, and corporate groups, including Air Products, PPL, and Liberty Property Trust have provided support to Valley Youth House through Days of Caring. Contact the Development Office to see how you can help.

Project Child Coalition – Valley Youth House

Project Child is a broad-based coalition whose mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect. Volunteers are needed for help with bulk mailings and other administrative tasks. Project Child also needs volunteers for a variety of planning committees and for several large events.

Administrative Volunteers – LifeChoice

Assemble informational packets, file, perform data entry, and other clerical duties. (This volunteer opportunity is based out of our Dresher, PA office near Willow Grove.)

Bereavement Volunteers – LifeChoice

Make phone calls to caregivers and loved ones to provide emotional support. Or assist chaplains or bereavement coordinators with planning and carrying out memorial services.

Bedside Volunteers – LifeChoice

Visit with and support patients by playing music, writing letters or reading from a patient’s favorite book. Or provide respite to caregivers by sitting with patients while caregivers run errands or take a break.
