Appointment Buddies is a direct way to help someone in need. Volunteers buddy with senior clients to help then get to and from their doctors’ appointments. Without the help of a volunteer the client may not be able to make it to their appointment. This program aims to offer assistance and support to our senior clients as well as to provide an important social network. By providing a volunteer to travel with our clients to their appointments, Met Council is assured that they are receiving the care that they need.
