Literacy Volunteer and Advocates tutors work with their learners to improve literacy based on individual goals. Your learner may dream of reading a book to a grandchild, passing a test at work, managing personal mail and accounts, reading the sports page, or obtaining a GED high school equivalency. No matter what the specifics, our learners are inspiring and determined adults who have come to us voluntarily begging for a second chance to learn. You will be touched and humbled by the experience of working with them, and they will appreciate you immensely.
