Assistants are assigned one class at the beginning of each session. They are considered “teachers in training” and should expect to be actively engaged in the planning and teaching processes. TAs act as a second set of eyes and ears for their teachers. The minimum time commitment is 5 hours per week for 10 weeks. No previous teaching experience is required; although, a particular interest in education and languages is useful.
