The Pensacola Humane Society is in need of dedicated volunteers. Volunteers need to share our passion for animals and have a sincere desire to be of assistance to the center. Volunteers need to be 18 years of age or older, as our staff is too small to supervise younger would-be volunteers. Prior to working directly with animals, volunteers must sign a release form. As a Pensacola Humane Society volunteer, you will have many opportunities to become involved and help the animals find new homes. In addition to the special programs, you can:
- Groom & exercise cats/dogs
- Clean cages and dog runs
- Process adoptions
- Feed the animals
- Launder towels/bedding
- Help with office tasks
- Become a Foster care provider
