Montgomery Parks has several venues for special events, including historic homes like Rockwood and Woodlawn Manors. These facilities are open year round, and are typically rented on weekends for large groups, family weddings, business retreats and conferences.
The gardens around these homes need to be maintained on a regular basis and particularly well groomed when there are special events. The Event Site Gardener Assistant volunteer will assist the Park’s Horticulturalist in keeping these beautiful locations looking picture perfect. This will be a great way to sharpen your gardening skills, and have pride in what you create!
