Do you want to eliminate the causes of poverty and hunger? Do you believe that together we can create a more just society? Northside P.O.W.E.R. members are ordinary people who have chosen to engage in the public arena where decisions are made that affect our daily lives and the well-being of our communities. Northside P.O.W.E.R. members organize to hold our elected officials and other decision makers accountable to implement policies and take actions that promote social and economic justice for everyone. In addition to monthly meetings, volunteer activities could include neighborhood canvassing, lobbying days, or participating in actions.
