Volunteer Crew Leaders commit to volunteering 3-4 days a month for at least six months and work closely with our construction supervisors. You will gain construction and leadership skills and collaborate with many exciting people through this unique leadership experience. As you gradually gain experience and skills as a Potential Crew Leader, you and the staff will jointly determine whether you are ready to accept additional responsibilities in a crew, depending on the projects and your demonstrated proficiency. Then the staff will rely on you to supervise a small group of volunteers to increase DC Habitat’s volunteer capacity and help us to build more homes!
