As the holiday season approaches, we encourage our readers to remember those less fortunate not only during Christmas and Chanukah but in the days and weeks that follow.
Many of our food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters are inundated with volunteers in December, when the spirit of giving is part of a national discussion. In January and February, when the weather turns coldest, these organizations are desperate for that same support.
We hope you each have a wonderful holiday season and look forward to sharing Areena’s programs and initiatives for 2017 after the new year.
