Classroom Helper: Enhance the children’s educational services by providing support and assistance to the classroom teachers in our Early Childhood Care + Education Centers. Volunteers work with children 6 weeks to 6 years old, and position duties can include helping to welcome children to the center, assisting in classroom daily routines, monitoring play time, reading stories and helping with art projects. We also have opportunities for “Cuddlers” in the infant rooms. Baby Cuddlers provide an extra set of helping hands – rocking infants, reading stories, and helping with classroom tasks.
Volunteer positions are available in Chicago, Palatine, Schaumburg and Carpentersville!
