The volunteers at McLane Children’s help greet and direct visitors and patients to their appointments, deliver gifts to patients, staff the information desk and refreshment kiosks, assist family members in the ICU and day surgery waiting areas and staff the Starflower Gift Shop. There are many volunteer opportunities, some of which include:
- Front Desk/Concierge
- Starflower Gift Shop
- Cookie Cart
- Child Life
- Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy
- Reading to patients (Readers program)
- Neonatal ICU (NICU)
- Unit Volunteer
