The Center for Mindful Living is a non-profit organization that provides in-house programs that offer instruction in a variety of techniques for stress reduction, mental focus, and self-awareness. There are several different capacities in which you may want to help:
- Center Services Volunteers: will serve in 4-hour shifts and perform duties such as giving tours of the center, set up/take down for education room programs, upkeep of common areas, and straightening and restocking the library.
- Front Desk Volunteers: will handle phone calls, facilitate membership, sign up volunteers, take program registrations, help with library book check out/in, and other tasks as needed. You will be asked to work a 4-hour shift.
- Support Volunteers: are asked to serve for 2-hour shifts. You will be responsible for assisting with the duties of the center services volunteer with the exception of giving tours. You will also be available to help the front desk volunteer and center manager.
