| Do you love getting outside, working with your hands, and meeting dedicated people passionate about protecting some of the best conservation properties in Massachusetts? Are you willing to get a little dirty and have some fun at the same time? Come check out our Wednesday Workdays Corps and you can do all this and more. Volunteers will collaborate with staff and other volunteers to accomplish much needed projects on several Trustees properties in the Charles River Valley. Each Wednesday from approximately April through October we will meet at Powisset farm and travel to one of our properties. Once there we will work on projects like creating bog bridges, rebuilding and restoring water bars on trails, light carpentry projects, grounds keeping, painting, cutting back ingrown vegetation, as well as identifying and removing invasive species. Join us once a month or every week! |
